Hello, I volunteer for a historic cemetery. We have a drive that encircles the 6-acre cemetery. We have had the city lay caliche before, but we've been quoted by a company $100k to re-lay rock on the whole drive. (We are a nonprofit, volunteers and donation based, we barely have a buck to our name) We are alongside a bayou and the ship channel in Pasadena Texas, so water stands a lot. I can't get anyone to quote us for using a power rake, they just want to quote laying more rock = $100K! So I have even looked into renting a power rake, can't find one. Am I just in a bad region of the country where I can't find a power rake to be rented or a company to use a power rake only? Thanks. . .love your videos.

I have a 17' Vulcan multi ladder, heavy as heck, and had to run out today looking for a standoff. Lowe's had one of these and I snagged the last one. You're right, they do fit on these types of ladders even though the safety sticker on the ladders caution against using standoffs. I know it may be foolhardy to people to bypass these cautions but hell a ladder is dangerous in and of itself. I had to have one, this Vulcan is the only ladder I have to install my gutter guards, so I'm siding with you here. The Werner fits secure, just like you showed it being put on. And with mine, even that top locking clasp snaps in place under that first rung. I just had to give it a solid whack with the palm of my hand. I tested it and everything works just fine, so looks like I'll be getting these guards put on my gutters this evening after it cools down outside! Thanks for making this video, brother.

Reclock tensioner/ idler arm. Remove belt, Remove tensioner, nuts are on the inside of the deck. Lift it off the deck. 2 holes look adjustable, The 3rd is not. Look around the 3rd hole and there’s a small guide/center punch mark. Drill this spot out to the appropriate size. Then reinstall tensioner aligned with your new hole. I work on grandstand 72519 and similar models, but I imagine the deck is the same. Typically I’ll upgrade to a heavier built idler arm due to the old one bending but that’s a prior issue. I was lost with a belt slipping under tensioner issue. And the dealer/ service center I do business with recommended reclocking.

This mower has no place being used commercially. Everything is way too light duty. It will not last. Made for a flat, residential lot. Small transmissions, small wheels, poor electronics, mediocre cut quality.

Mercy! When sharpening metal, the metal being removed should always move in the direction away from the edge and not toward it. In other words, the sparks should be shooting out the top and not the bottom. The fact that you have to make accommodations (sharpening at an angle rather than perpendicular to the sharpening stone's edge), should have told you something. Sharpening with wheel spinning down (counterclockwise), can also cause blade to be sharpened to get pinched between sharpening wheel and blade when resting against blade holder (spaced 1/8" from the sharpening wheel). Blade smiths have know this for years...

The learning curve with the Powerrake is significant. There is a lot going on with a driveway job. It’s cool to watch as you learn the machine! I love the ventrac system and the build quality is top notch

I find rotella T6 full synthetic 15w40 doesnt burn any oil in old kawi motors we run. SAE30 and synthetic 10w30 burn a bit, all different brands til a buddy suggested t6

I had a troy trimmer and i used to do just fine trimming with it. Now, i bought this trimmer and its choppy...not sure how id control it or if there's another method to it.

I go to razor sharp, and then take a file and run it flat down the whole edge twice to dull it just a tiny bit.

I just bought mine and I'm having a hard time starting it. Am I doing something wrong. It's about 75 degrees outside. Everything is brand new. I got the pre mix fuel from home depot so I don't have to mix it. I push the fuel button to get fuel in the bowl and I have it on cold start. It's not starting? Anyone have ideas?
